Care calculators & help for Berlin
Which care level is realistic? How much care allowance is left if a care service comes in? How much of your relief amount is about to expire, how many hours does caring really cost per year, and by when must the advisory visit be documented? Five calculators answer one of those questions each — and the Berlin navigator tells you who is responsible.

German long-term care insurance is a system of pots, quotas and deadlines: care allowance under § 37, care services under § 36, the relief amount under § 45b, the joint annual amount for respite and short-term care under § 42a — plus processing and appeal deadlines. Once you understand the mechanics, you get noticeably more support without paying more.
Each calculator answers exactly one question: the care level calculator, which level is realistic; the combined benefits calculator, how much care allowance is left when a care service comes in; the relief amount calculator, which credit expires when; the care workload calculator, how much time caring costs per year; the § 37.3 planner, by when the advisory visit is due. The Berlin care navigator guides you through offices, applications and deadlines.
Our calculators turn those mechanics into concrete figures — using the real Berlin rates we actually bill as a licensed care service, not national averages. Every figure carries its official source and the date of the legal position. The calculation runs in your browser; whether your entries are additionally stored with us is your decision on each calculator page.
